Cardinal Health

Working with many different files types within the company, imaging, scanning, indexing, filing (paper and computer media) internal customers service. Working under FDA and audit regulations and according to company SOP's. Control document retention, file history and distribution. Imaging with KeyFile and Ascent software packages with Windows 2000. Reporting work completed and in progress in weekly meetings with staff members. Maintaining data base for all checked out records and other files in use by staff members. Creating new files and Retiring old files according to company SOP's.

QSS/Temp/Full-Time

Working in DCR for Medical Research company; scanning of all medical documents, indexing of all scanned records and record retrieval for staff. Pick-up of all medical documents from personnel and departments.

Mailroom Clerk, Department of the Navy (Contractor)

Using Postalsoft Software on a PC running windows 2000 and connected to a network, adding, purging and updating names and addresses from a database of about 60,000 to 250,000 entries and mailing about 150,000 pieces a month on average. Recording inventory for all BRM (Bulk Rate Mailers), different types of letterhead and return cards for all programs, maintaining database of inventory on Access creating database in MS Excel of information for new mailing lists researched on the internet and lists from the NC School System. Designed manuals using MS PowerPoint for training on the RENA printer (for printing BRM's), NEOPOST Letter folder and stuffer and the PostalSoft software that is used in all amilings. The manuals contained step-by-step instructions as well as pictures of each step of the process.

Imaging Specialist DocuTrust - Temp/full-time.

Scanning, Indexing and copying black and white documents and pictures. Color picture copies using color copier and imaging system. Set-up for network of computer system and copier systems within the office. Scanning with LAW software, imaging system and worked with Cannon copiers. assisting with matting, enlarging of documents also with invoicing/billing as well as customer service on phone as well as face to face contact.

Registration / Document Manager - Alliance Funding

Data Entry of all new loan applications for the registration department (paper and image fax), calling customer for any updates or corrections. Managing a 4 person department as well as administration of all records in branch office. Ordering credit reports from 3 credit reporting companies and creating a file for all new loans.
Storage of all closed, denied and canceled files along with prepping all funded files for scanning. Updating file and registration report inventory for weekly review by the office manager. Over seeing all files being checked in and checked out.
Assisting customers and sales staff with product questions and current rates over the phone, E-mail and office walk-ins. Logging in of all new files that came into the office using MS Excel.
Training new personnel on computer system and "TEAM" (mainframe software) and interface to the IBM AS400 mainframe, handled questions from staff about software and working on in-house network problems and network restarts and switching, along with set-up, take down and shipping of computers for company upgrades. Preformed Administrative duties for office manager to include word processing, handling in coming and out going mail, using Fed-Ex, UPS and USPS, taking in-coming call and directing call to the correct person/s, ordering office supplies, contacting vendors for office machine repairs.

Application Specialist/Document Specialist -

GE Capital & GE Mortgage Management Services

Created new filing system from 3 different filing systems for easier access to all files and for less confusion in locating them. The system was converted from numbering and named systems to an account number system only, the system used less space because all files could be stored together and 1 time every month all canceled and denied files would be pulled, indexed, boxed and be sent to an off-site warehouse and all funded files would be pulled 1 time a year to be sent to another office in NJ to be imaged. The whole system was built on a rotating file system. Converting to this system saved the company around $5,000.00 a year for working hours and space used.
Worked with Fed-x to exchanged old fed-x computers for smaller systems using less space in office and using their internet site along with assisting in training of office personnel and at a cost savings to the company. Handled all incoming mail (USPS, Fed-x, UPS and Airborne) and assign to the correct department/personnel. Assisted in a new branch office opening; file system update and training of personnel in the correct handling and shipping of files as well as application registration training. Set up database in MS Access for tracking all files in 3 branch offices and files being shipped to NJ office for imaging. Administrative duties to include recieving in-coming calls and directing to the correct person, maintaining log and reports for all department managers, customer service on the phone with collecting information and returning customer calls, copying, faxing and reporting of inventory.

Records Management Specialist - GE Cpaital Mortgage Ins.

Microfilming documents using Kodak microfilming machines, speed of 9,000 pages per hour. Data entry for indexed microfilmed images for later review and printing at a rate of 10,000 key strokes per hour and printing at a machine rate of 300 pages per hour.
Imaging / Scanning using 1994 Bell & Howell imaging system and IBM imaging system. Indexing documents that where imaged with IBM imaging software, imaging and indexing at a machine rate of 480 per hour. Using Kodak Imagelink/Digital Workstation for retrieval and printing of files that where on microfilm or for file history reviews.Traveling to off-site storage to pull paper files from that location and to re-file them or make copys for customers. Account number and date look ups on AS400 mainframe.

Chemical Dependency / Records Custodian Tech. - Life Center of Fayetteville

Logging in and creating new patient medical record with doctors daily orders and notes from the nursing staff of hand written logs in each unit. Prepping records of patients that where released to go to off-site storage; the records where taken out of office charts and incerted into a file folder in order of dates. Nursing duties such as taking patient blood pressures, temperatures, heart rates,breathing rate, assisting in bathing and logging other patient information.

Medical Assistant / Records Custodian - US Coast Guard

Assisting with sick call by taking blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, breathing rate, asking questions of patient as to what was wrong and or doing a short exam of patient, prescribing (limited) medications or referring patient to Naval ship yard, Pa. hospital for more indepth patient review. Incharge of medical supplies and reporting on inventory, re-stocking of old or used medical supplies or equipment and replacing if needed, cleaning and maintaining all medical equipment in the department and on all units attached to the Coast Guard base. Liaison for U.S. Naval Ship Yard Hospital and civilian personnel with CHAMPS Ins., assisting with filling out forms and helping with questions with the Ins.

Stocker / Cashier - Winn-Dixie

Unloading of trucks and stocking at night, cashier on weekend's

Bus Driver - Cumberland County

Driving school bus for Cumberland School system, driving 3 routes per day with about 70 school children per route per day.

Chesapeake HOA Board Member since Nov. 2003. Assist in Self-management office with computer systems and most paper work within the office as needed.
